There is no such medical condition as a “dirty liver.” However, liver damage or disease can occur due to various factors such as alcohol consumption, viral infections (such as hepatitis B and C), obesity, and certain medications or toxins. Symptoms of liver damage or disease may include: Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) Fatigue or weakness Nausea or vomiting Loss of appetite Abdominal pain or swelling Dark urine Pale or tar-colored stools Itchy skin Easy bruising or bleeding Swelling in the legs or ankles
